Happy Friday! I’m very excited to be sharing with you all about book 2 in Aileen Erin’s epic paranormal romance series called Days of Iron and Clay! Book Mail

Look at all of these themed goodies!! It was the biggest surprise when I received this book mail and I’m still giddy over it!! There’s annotation tools (in an awesome bag!), holographic stickers, a delicious-sounding recipe card, Inky pin, glow bracelet, bookmark, mini sampler of Off Planet (a book/series I highly recommend also I’m obsessed with this adorable mini size), and of course a signed copy of THE book, Infestation, Days of Iron & Clay #2!! I know this post is belated in that the book already released, but receiving this box out of the blue really kicked me in the booty to get to reading the sequel! Life has been overwhelmingly hectic of late and to be honest reading in general had fallen to the wayside, but this lovely surprise put a book back in my hands and I couldn’t wait to help support Aileen with giving it a review!

Infestation picks up where book one left off and wow what a ride!There’s drama, there’s chaos, there’s romance, there’s lovable side characters, there’s action, there’s everything you’re probably looking for in an exciting supernatural read! I thought the first book was action-packed but this one takes that and keeps the momentum going. There’s no rest for Samantha in this book! If you’re mostly interested in the paranormal battles then have no fear because they’re still the core of the action and if you’re more here for the romance then you too need not fear because with every page things between Samantha and Phoenix just get swoonier. The best part of sinking into this series is that Aileen Erin doesn’t just write a story, she creates an entire world that leaves you tempted to visit if offered (well, not all of it obviously lol like Hell I’d very much rather avoid thank you). If you’re looking for something new to binge then definitely consider starting this journey full of werewolves, witches, demons, and more! Of course there’s only two books published so far in this series, BUT you can also dive into the Alpha Girl series which is not only a fun ride in itself but will give you an added layer of appreciation for the characters and world in this series!

And to top things off, once again the cover is pretty epic and drew me right in while the story kept me in its grasp. I can’t wait to read what will happen next!
