It’s a new year and what better way to welcome it into our hearts than by scouring the news for the fantastic book releases 2020 will bring! Truthfully 2019 was a bit of a slump for me when it comes to reading new stuff Continue reading

Top Ten Books Read in 2019
I’ve been lucky enough this year to read a great number of books so trying to choose only ten favorites was incredibly difficult, but at last here we are. The year 2019 has come to an end and to reflect briefly on those months that have passed I’ve come up with my traditional list of the top ten books I read & reviewed this year along with some honorable mentions Continue reading
2019 Indie Spotlight
In addition to my usual end-of-year/new-year’s posts of my Top Books Read and Top Anticipated Reads, I’d like to do a post that highlights some of my favorite self-published/indie author/indie pub. books that I’ve read this year. My blog is open to all submissions and this leads to quite the variety of reads (which I love!) and so this post will be a moment to promote and praise some of my Top 2019 Reads that you won’t find being pushed and flaunted in major bookstores. Hopefully something will catch your eye! Continue reading
Top Ten Anticipated Books for 2019
It’s a new year and what better way to welcome it into our hearts than by scouring the news for the fantastic book releases 2019 will bring! It took some effort to keep this list to an even 10 but I finally managed it! Not all the cover art has been released yet but the descriptions have me excited! (Note: this list does not include 2019 ARCs already reviewed on my blog) Continue reading
Top Ten Books Read in 2018
I’ve been lucky enough this year to read a great number of books so trying to choose only ten favorites was incredibly difficult. But at last here we are. The year 2018 has come to an end and to reflect briefly on those months that have passed I’ve come up with my traditional list of the top ten books I read & reviewed this year along with some honorable mentions (because it really was too difficult to choose only ten!) all listed in alphabetical order. I say books I read as opposed to books released in 2018 because honestly then creating these yearly lists wouldn’t be as fun or hard. Let me know if you enjoyed any of these as well! What are some of your top books you read this year? Continue reading

Happy Halloween!!! To celebrate I put together a list of books and TV shows that feature all sorts of spooky Halloween classics! Maybe you’ll find something that catches your eye! Regardless of what you have planned for today I hope you enjoy it. 👻
(I will say though that since I’m not a fan of horror movies or the like that none of these will be too terrifying haha) Continue reading
BRN #22: ‘Tis Valentine’s Day ❤
Babbles, Rambles, & Nonsense #22
Today is Valentine’s Day. A day for couples to celebrate each other and a day for singles to either cry into their ice-cream or seize the night in wild defiance. But as for my blog this year I’m just going to stick with the obvious theme of… Continue reading
Top Ten Anticipated Books for 2018
It’s a new year and what better way to welcome it into our hearts than by scouring the news for the fantastic book releases 2018 will bring! It took some effort to keep this list to an even 10 but since most of my highly anticipated reads are actually sequels I thought I’d try and make sure to put a few newbies onto this list to promote some standalone novels or series starters that are coming soon! (Note: this list does not include 2018 ARCs already reviewed on my blog) Continue reading
BRN #18: My Rainy Day Books
I don’t know about you, but rainy days always makes me crave either a steady movie/TV binge or a luxuriously lazy book binge. For this post I thought I’d share some of my go-to rainy day books 🙂 Honestly some of these aren’t typically my favorite while others I think are the absolute best, but regardless they’re what call to me from my bookshelves whenever the day is long and the rain unrelenting. Strange what weather can do… Continue reading
Down the TBR Hole #4
I cannot believe how quickly time flies! It seems just yesterday that summer began! Well, it’s another month and so I’ve got another five books up on the judgement table. Listed below I’ve selected five books from my TBR list in the hopes that you’ll have read them, heard about them, or just have some sort of advice/vote/opinion for them. Continue reading
