They had me at “Jane Austen meets dragons” haha. The moment I read that I knew I had to read it for myself. And now that I have I must say that this really was a fun delightful read! Equal parts historical romance and fantasy adventure with plenty of humor woven throughout. I thought that the blending of mischievous magic into this English era of reserved propriety worked quite well and lent itself to establishing a tale with wit and charm.

Curses wrought over squabbles, jealousy, and sheer bad luck ignite the twisting journey of straight-laced Sedgwick, reckless Hugh, and sweet but clever Rea. They must face each other’s grievances and deal with the consequences if they have any hope of reversing the curse that has transformed the dashing Hugh into a little boy and the innocent Rae into a (small adorable) dragon. A light read that will have you enthralled with a gentle smile upon your face as you delve into this quirky tale full of faeries, dragons, and second chances.

Savannah Jezowski lives in Amish country with her Knight in Shining Armor and a wee warrior princess. She is the founder of Dragonpen Designs and Dragonpen Press, which offers author services such as cover design, developmental edits, and interior formatting.
