Later, April. Time for my post of one-line reviews for a few of the books I’ve read/finished this month. It’s short and gets to the point so if you haven’t been a fan of my usual sprawling review style then this is the complete opposite. Follow me on Goodreads if you’d like to keep up with all of the books I read each month.
Note: Click on the cover of a book to visit either its Goodreads page or my full review if I wrote one.

Reading A Court of Silver Flames was sort of like reading Tower of Dawn for me: a too long book about a struggling character I don’t care all that much about and I’d rather just read a spoiler summary instead.

Didn’t need to be so dark and utterly nightmarish, but ignoring that (if possible) it was a fantastic, compelling story.

Tells rather than shows, but it tells a good story idea for a TV show.

Horrifying, gripping, beautiful…I was hooked from the very start.
