See ya, September! Time for my post of one-line reviews for a few of the books I’ve read/finished this month. It’s short and gets to the point so if you haven’t been a fan of my usual sprawling review style then this is the complete opposite. Follow me on Goodreads if you’d like to keep up with all of the books I read each month.
Note: Click on the cover of a book to visit either its Goodreads page or my full review if I wrote one.

If you enjoyed the first book, then you’ll also love this sequel which further builds up this fascinating sci-fi journey.

Thank you to the publisher for sending me a copy to review!

A unique twist to the ancient and beloved tale of King Arthur and told with those good ol’ YA vibes that have been missing from so many newer releases these days.

A quirky, fun, sci-fi, cozy, murder mystery.

Thank you to the publisher & NetGalley for sending me a copy to review!

A bit academia, a bit psychological thriller, a bit gothic horror…it all combined with a slow and steady chill that had me clutching my blanket tighter and tighter without lifting my eyes from the page.

Thank you to the publisher & NetGalley for sending me a copy to review!

A brutal, heart-breaking, intertwining of two timelines that unite at the end with an emotional twist and although this historical fiction story is well-written it wasn’t quite my personal cup of tea as it’s dead depressing.
