Fare thee well, October! Time for my post of one-line reviews for a few of the books I’ve read/finished this month. It’s short and gets to the point so if you haven’t been a fan of my usual sprawling review style then this is the complete opposite. Follow me on Goodreads if you’d like to keep up with all of the books I read each month.

Another excellent cozy murder mystery packed full of dangerous shifters, sneaky humans, and scary lore.

Chilling mystery, cops, online dating, trivia nights, and romance all combine into this quick read of a novel.

Thank you to the author for submitting this book for review!

A fairytale-esque YA fantasy inspired by Rumpelstiltskin that’s magical, twisting, haunting, and everything that might lure you in and hold you firm until the end.

Be warned, this is a fantasy horror romance set in an asylum, but there’s enough mystery and intrigue to remain surprisingly captivated despite the intense darkness.
