One-line Reviews: November 2022

Until next time, November! Time for my post of one-line reviews for a few of the books I’ve read/finished this month. It’s short and gets to the point so if you haven’t been a fan of my usual sprawling review style then this is the complete opposite. Follow me on Goodreads if you’d like to keep up with all of the books I read each month.

Note: Click on the cover of a book to visit either its Goodreads page or my full review if I wrote one.

A short, fast-paced high fantasy retelling of Robin Hood that was rather good although I struggled to care about the main characters whom all seemed a bit terrible lol.

An epic cover, an epic title, and an epic continuation to The Half Tales series that is a must read for fans of fantasy and African folklore.

A series of short stories that were quick yet poignant as they explore a vast array of human experiences threaded through with a breath of magic.

Another frightening yet fun and intriguing adventure in the urban fantasy Mercyverse!

This fantasy tale is full of adventure and romance as it takes two fairytale characters (Rapunzel and Chip) and gives them an interesting, unexpected twist.
