One-line Reviews: January 2022

New year, new books! Time for my post of one-line reviews for a few of the books I’ve read/finished this month. It’s short and gets to the point so if you haven’t been a fan of my usual sprawling review style then this is the complete opposite. Follow me on Goodreads if you’d like to keep up with all of the books I read each month.

Note: Click on the cover of a book to visit either its Goodreads page or my full review if I wrote one.

An exciting yet vaguely familiar YA fantasy filled with adventure, dragons, and more.

In book one, the supernatural world was a threat to her but in book two, she very may well become an unstoppable threat to them and I am here for it!

A cute n’ fun teen read minus how it tried to check off agendas and trending topics with minimal finesse.

Awesome art and content, plus it’s just a really fun collectable for Pokémon fans.

An interesting mix of royalty, futuristic dystopia, and indeed some very swoon-worthy yet comfortably predictable romance that didn’t take long to sweep me away.
