One-line Reviews: July 2022

Bye, July! Time for my post of one-line reviews for a few of the books I’ve read/finished this month. It’s short and gets to the point so if you haven’t been a fan of my usual sprawling review style then this is the complete opposite. Follow me on Goodreads if you’d like to keep up with all of the books I read each month.

Note: Click on the cover of a book to visit either its Goodreads page or my full review if I wrote one.

A fantasy romance about a mother rescuing her daughter which was a different take from most in this genre, but the drama was a bit much/repetitive.

A thrilling twisting adventure full of magic, revenge, discovery, and a battle over an African throne.

Thank you to the author for submitting this book for review!

Gorgeous cover, but this Peter Pan-inspired story leaves a lot to be desired.

An epic, satisfying, happy ending to the sci-fi Aunare Chronicles.

A thrilling modern-day YA twist on Greek mythology that I easily binged in a day.
