Today is Valentine’s Day. A day for couples to celebrate each other and a day for singles to either cry into their ice-cream or seize the night in wild defiance. But as for my blog this year I’m just going to stick with the obvious theme of… Continue reading

Thank you Dawlyn & Krista of @LittleBlindBookFinds for tagging me in this fun post! I’ve definitely got a sweet tooth and I’m obviously a book lover so I was excited to do it, here we go! Continue reading

So this is completely random but it’s something I’ve thought about before…often when there’s a really bad storm and I’m home alone in the dark wishing I had a fictional squad to swoop in and not let me die by a tree falling or something. And sometimes I ponder it when I’m bored or wishing life weren’t so mundane. But mostly it’s just something I like to play around with and think about for fun or on road trips. So I figured why not just go ahead and post this random little fun post? And feel free to join in!
Time to CHOOSE MY TEAM. Continue reading

I have had the privilege of reading a a great number of books this year so narrowing it down to only ten favorites was incredibly difficult. But at last here we are. The year 2017 has come to a close and to reflect briefly on those months that have passed I’ve come up with a list of the top ten books I read in the year of 2017 along with some honorable mentions (because it really was too difficult to choose only ten!) all listed in alphabetical order. I say books I read as opposed to books released in 2017 because honestly then creating these yearly lists wouldn’t be as fun or hard. Let me know if you enjoyed any of these as well! What are some of your top books you read this year? Continue reading

I just wanted to write a quick post wishing you all a wonderful Christmas and to thank you for being such wonderful readers of my blog. I absolutely love reading and responding to all of your comments and I enjoy reading the blogs of those of you who have your own! I originally started this blog just for myself. I had just graduated from college, I had no job, no friends, and was at a complete loss for what to do with myself. Well, I could never have predicted how fantastic it is to be a book blogger and it’s all because of you. The book blog community is a large but warm one and I am so glad I stumbled into it. Please have a relaxing, fun, and rejuvenating Christmas and I hope 2018 will be even better. Continue reading

I stumbled across this fun tag on Shanah’s blog – Bionic Book Worm. If you don’t already follow her then you need to check her blog out because it’s pretty great (: Anyway, this tag sounded fun so I thought I’d give it a go! Continue reading

Something I noticed about myself the other day when commenting on a fellow book blogger’s review of a book I’d read almost two years ago, was just how much I’ve changed as a reader and reviewer. I enjoyed their review and was curious as to what I wrote in my own review so long ago and what I found surprised me. Continue reading

I cannot believe how quickly time flies! It seems just yesterday that summer began! Well, it’s another month and so I’ve got another five books up on the judgement table. Listed below I’ve selected five books from my TBR list in the hopes that you’ll have read them, heard about them, or just have some sort of advice/vote/opinion for them. Continue reading

Another month, another batch of books up on the chopping block! In an effort to cut down my ever-growing TBR list I’ve selected another five hopefuls that I’m trying to decide whether I should keep them and read them, or scratch them off my list and wave them farewell.
As always I greatly appreciate your opinions and help!
