pooled ink Review:

Thank you to the author for submitting this book for review!

Coffey kindly sent me the third installment in her series, A New World, to review. I reviewed the first two books what feels like forever ago but it wasn’t hard to recall where things left off and settle right back into Jessa’s story.

This book is a high fantasy story filled with Faeries, Ancients, Trolls, Humans, Sylphs, and a whole realm of interesting characters. Over the course of the series they’ve clashed against one another following prophecy, greed, power, tradition, and love. Things really escalated in Pink Moon as secrets are unveiled altering the course of the kingdoms’ futures.

While there is plenty of action and excitement a large focus of the plot is on the romance between Jessa and Micah. From the moment they met forces worked tirelessly to keep them apart but they’re willing to work just as hard to find a way to be together. Both weighed down with responsibilities, they still find time to spend with one another between battles and political power games. This book in particular will really make you hold your breath to see what fate lies in store for them and the end becomes quite the cliffhanger!

Overall this book isn’t very long but not too short either. It’s full of characters with heart, hidden motives, and a world waiting at their fingertips.

Plagued with obstacles to overcome and riddled with truths to face, Pink Moon continues a fantasy adventure that Jessa never could have guessed. Exciting, fun, and romantic – get out your battle swords and get ready to play.

Cheers.
