A Message from J.D.

No, I have no idea when or how this project will be published, but after keeping this a secret for so long, I felt it was time to bring it to light.

It’s been years since I dreamt of the guy running in the streets of New York. A torrential storm punished the city as he raced toward St. Patrick’s Cathedral—his only beacon of hope and redemption. In the dream, the man knocked on the doors of the old church, terrified, begging for help. But no help came to him. He then awoke, chained to the top of the cathedral, and branded on his neck was the symbol of the device that could merge the world of the living, the dead, and the world of nightmares into one.

I am still writing the story, carving this rough diamond into its perfect shape. But, I feel you’re ready to somewhat discover what lies beyond the things we can see.

WELCOME TO THE UNSEEN

This book sounds so interesting!! I discovered J.D. Netto a few months back but my TBR stack has kept me so busy that I haven’t quite gotten around to reading his other series THE WHISPERS OF THE FALLEN. His books sound so epic though! Definitely check them out if you haven’t already. The first book is on my Nook and I’m definitely going to move it to the top of my stack!

J.D. Netto

Born in a small town in Brazil, J.D. relocated to the United States during the late years of his childhood. At an early age, J.D. discovered his passion for fantasy stories and alternate universes. Immersed in worlds created by Tolkien, Michael Crichton, C.S. Lewis and J.K. Rowling, J.D. found his own writing voice when he had the idea for his first book series. ‘What if Lucifer had a Diary? What if the Diary was a secret? What if the secret was a reality?’

These simple questions were the initial spark of inspiration for J.D.’s first literary work. After six years, he self-published his first novel, The Whispers of the Fallen, on November 30th, 2012, which was then picked up by Untreed Reads and re-released in August 2013. The Whispers of the Fallen series has become a prominent presence in YA literature, captivating thousands of readers worldwide. The sequel, Rebellion, was released at BookCon 2014 in New York City. The third book in the series, The Gathering of Shadows, was released on Halloween 2015.

Today, J.D. Netto joined the OfTomes family, a micro-publishing house founded by internet sensation, Benjamin of Tomes. The new editions of The Whispers of the Fallen books will be hitting shelves on Halloween 2016.
